I think one of the biggest reasons the number of Joomla users is not increasing rapidly is that migration from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 (from the older Joomla 4 to a newer clean Joomla 4/5) has become very difficult.
J2XML worked for me perfectly till Joomla 3, but not for Joomla 4.
Worse, content export to a newer clear installation through phymyadmin was also not working. However, yesterday I was successful. I don't know if other people are also having the same problem, but here is the solution which worked perfectly for me.
(1) While exporting Database (through phymyadmin), under the "Export Method" please click to the option of "Custom - display all possible options"
(2) Then under "Tables", select only "DATA", but remove "Structure".
(3) Then under "Data creation options", please select the option of "Truncate table before insert".
PS: If you are exporting only "contents", then please make sure you also include "workflows" in it. Without that, your articles will not show up in the Joomla backend. If it does not work, then try exporting the whole database (excluding extensions). It will work.
That is all. This way, you can import all your contents to a new clean installation.
